Cruise season leads off with German tourists
THE cruise ship Aida Mar will dock at the Colon Cruise Port 2000, with 3,000 passengers on November 20 and with a fresh contingent on November 28. This is a cruise of 3000 German passengers that includes Columbus, the Panama Canal, and Panama City among its attractions.
Its passengers fly from Germany to Jamaica or the Dominican Republic. Before reaching Colon, they go to Limón Costa Rica, jump to Cartagena and visit the Lesser Antilles.
The Mein Schiff 6 with another 3000 German passengers will reach Colon on November 26 to start its cruise through the South Caribbean with the Panama Canal as a key attraction.
Fridays will be busy days for Colon 2000 Fridays when hundreds of passengers from Latin America travel to Panama embark on the Monarch of Pullmantur, and cruises arrive like the Norwegian Jade of 2,402 passengers and the Tui Discovery 2 with 1,836 passengers.
