Panama tops region in hospital investment
Panama leads the way in Central America with investment in hospital projects, with nearly $298 million in construction projects dedicated to medical services, corresponding to five environmental impact studies submitted between January and June 2018.
Seven EIAs were presented in Costa Rica, which together total an investment of approximately $222 million.
In Nicaragua, three hospital projects are expected to require an investment of around $206 million. In Honduras, three buildings will be built to provide medical care, for which $35 million will be invested.
