Varela visits Cuba for tourism chat
President Juan Carlos Varela arrived in Cuba on Monday this afternoon and was received by the Minister in charge of Cuban Foreign Affairs, Rogelio Sierra. According to the official agenda, Varela will spend at least 27 hours on the island. Varela is scheduled to meet with his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Diaz-Canel, at the Palace of the Revolution, where they will discuss projects to boost the tourism sector, trade, as well as the diplomatic ties of both nations.
