A downpour lasting only 30 minutes in Colon on Thursday, flooded homes, brought down trees, overflowed streams and made roads impassable in communities of the corregimiento of Cristóbal and others near the Transístmica highway. Houses were flooded in La Sagrada, Resurrection and El Nazareno.
