Foreigner permit cancellations reach 750
The National Migration Service (SMN) has canceled a further 250 permits ranging from temporary to permanent for foreigners who were found to have used false documentation bringing announced cancelations to 750
The documentation was regarding the amount of fees in the file of the Social Security Deposit (CSS).
Salaries that did not match those of the individual account, inscriptions on the payroll with companies where there is an employment relationship and certifications signed by Social Security personnel lacking authenticity were some of the irregularities detected.
The names and data of those whose permits were canceled were detailed on the immigration authority’s website on Monday, May 28.
Protests, vigils, and demonstrations are planned by those affected.
