Panama World Cup stars serious injury

 

Panama  national team captain defender, Roman Torres, the hero  of the game that propelled the team into the World Cup in Russia has sustained a “serious” injury with the tournament only weeks away.

The news is a  major blow for Torres, the Seattle Sounders, and Panama

Last weekend, Roman Torres could not play with the Sounders following an injury to the hamstring of his right leg.

On Wednesday afternoon, May 2  Seattle Sounders coach Brian Schmetzer said that Roman Torres’ condition is not good.

“It’s not good, it’s not good, it’s a hamstring injury and it’s not good It’s all I’ll say for now but it is a blow” Schmetzer
