No bridge bonus for Labor Day

Minister of the Presidency, Alvaro Alemán on Wednesday, April 25 quashed hopes that the government would declare Monday, April 30,  a “bridge” day giving workers a long weekend leading up to Labor Day,  Tuesday, May 1.

Alemán reminded citizens that Article 46 of the Labor Code was amended a few years ago and no longer allows the possibility of a  bridge day.
