Police called to eviction protests

PROTESTERS  against the  eviction of squatters being carried out in Cerro Galera,  were barred by police from blocking the highway in Arraiján on Tuesday May 16.

The protests took at the entrance of Nuevo Chorrillo.

Social networks also reported demonstrations,  against the demolition of squatters homes in  El Cruce de Las Mañanitas. The evacuations have led to one accidental death.
