OPINION: Panamas immoral lawmakers

The National Assembly, whose deputies are elected by the people, refuses to listen to the voice of the Electorate.

In spite of the discovery of the immoral negotiations that they maintain with “donations” and contracts of temporary “work” , they have now added to their shamelessness an inconceivable amount for their campaigns, as   if the cost of these were the same in a region as in the city, everyone would receive equal treatment. That’s absurd.

And instead of disqualifying  them when they hand out gifts ib  the elections, they propose a  challenge. That is, they want to guarantee the present position,

We were all witnesses of the scandal in which they squandered more than $400 million in re-election actions. They do not legislate to correct, they make laws to benefit themselves, to guarantee the business, with the most absolute impunity. Then they complain about criticism, when the offended are we: the people.
