Speeding cell phone user kills passenger

A  SPEEDING driver, said by witnesses to be talking on a cell phone when he overtook an ambulance, spun out  of control and somersaulted into a ditch killing  a 20- year-old passenger  on Tuesday afternoon Mar. 7.

The incident happened in at Llanito Verde.in the La Chorrera community of Cerro Cama,

Paramedics in the ambulance that had been overtaken stopped to assist the two injured people

They were taken to the health center in the Espino de La Chorrera  where Yatsury Otero a Cerro Cama de La Chorrera community worker died.

The driver, who had severe head and body injuries  the body, was transferred to the hospital Nicolás A. Solano in La Chorrera.
