Boating alert extended 72 hours
THE PANAMA Maritime Authority (AMP) announced Sunday, March 5 that the cautionary warning directed to small craft and boats with outboard motors has been extended for 72 hours.
The renewed alert is due to continuing strong winds and adverse sea conditions with wage surges.
The measure aims to achieve safe navigation, on the coastline and offshore until Tuesday afternoon, March 7.
The AMP, warns marinas, boat owners and tourism companies to redouble their security measures to protect people, boats and other property.
