Second death in overtaking bus crash

RICARDO DAVIS, 46, the driver of   a taxi hit by a speeding mini bus  attempting to overtake another vehicle  died of  his injuries on Monday  Feb 27, the day after the accident.

Joana Rodriguez, a passenger in the taxi, died on the spot.

The accident occurred in the province of Colón, in the few meters from the entrance to the Municipal Cemetery of Puerto Pilón, Colon.

The first 60 days of the year have seen 68 deaths on Panama highways.
