6-year-old dead, 8 injured in speeding bus crash

A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy died Tuesday night, Feb. 28  when the speeding minibus in which he was traveling collided with another speeding vehicle.

Eight others including three children were injured said  a Transit Authority preliminary report

The incident occurred at the intersection in front of the Llano Bonito Randolph Gameth Stadium in Chitré.
The drivers apeared to be unaware of a new traffic pattern set up for Carnival.

It was the fourth traffic fatality in Herrera so far this year.
