Health inspectors swoop on Carnival pork vendors
HEALTH inspectors seized At least 402 pounds of pork from vendors at Carnival celebrations in Ocú.
Chitré Regional Chief of Public Health Stacy Osorio said that the seizures took place because the sellers did not have records of the origin of the product.
During health inspections approximately 250 food handlers were checked in the districts of Chitré, Ocú and Parita.
