Comptroller to review more Assembly contracts

Comptroller to  expand review  of Assembly contracts

ALL FUTURE contracts  issued by the National Assembly above $30,000 will be reviewed by the Comptroller General of the Republic according to a proposal he endorsed  January 6.

At present, the National Assembly’s Inspection Department, and not the comptroller, could endorse contracts under $200,000 reports La Prensa.
