$7 million for presidential plane equipment

$7 MILION for the purchase of technical equipment for the presidential plane has been approved by the Cabinet Council.

The five year  contract for the supplies will be between the Civil Aviation Authority and Embraer Aviation International.

The equipment was not specified. The plane is a Legacy 600 built by Embraer.

In addition to the use by the president who has outstripped his predecessors with oversees flights , the aircraft is used by various security organizations in the country and occasionally for the transfer of patients.
