Court rejects complaint against prosecutors

A COMPLAINT  of abuse of authority against   four  public prosectors  has been provisionally dismissed by the Ninth Criminal Court.

The  complaint was lodged by Gustavo Perez, former secretary of Panama’s National Security Council,  who is awaiting trial  for his alleged role in wiretapping  of politicians, judges, journalists and businessmen during the administration of ex-President Ricardo Martinelli.

The dismissal was announced on Wednesday November 24.
