Whoever wins US election democracy holds US ambassador

IT DOESN’T   matter who wins the US presidential election America will  have a democracy said the United States Ambassador in Panama John Feeley on  Monday. November 7, the eve of the election.

He said that  that the  elections that will be held in his country come at the end of a “very public campaign.”

“It doesn’t matter who wins,” the diplomat said. “The sun will come up Wednesday…We are going to have a democracy.”

He added that Wednesday the institutions in his country will continue to run and the American people will go to work.

“There will be a winner. We don’t know who, but that is precisely the lesson of democracy, we are going to let the people choose,”  La Prensa reports

Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump are the main candidates for president. The election will also determine who controls the House and the Senate.
