Heavy rains bring city floods
HEAVY RAINS brought down trees and flooded many sectors of Panama City and San Miguelito, on Saturday September 24.
The downpour began at noon and a house was inundated with flood waters from Calle 14 in Rio Abajo.
A report by the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) said that trees fell in Villa del Rey, Lefevre Park, Villa Guadalupe, San Miguelito and El Laguito and in Cativá, Colon
In addition, there was a collapse of a structure in the El Maranon neighborhood, of Calidonia.
