Tidal wave alert for Pacific Coast
A TIDAL WAVE warning has been issued for Panama’s Pacific coast by Etesa’s Hydrometeorological center.
It will be in effect for the next three days producing waves of “significant height long life and high frequency”
The alert is valid from 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, September 22 until 11:59 p.m. on September 24.
The phenomenon is present on the coast of Chiriqui, south Veraguas, Los Santos, Herrera, and the Gulf of Panama, among others.
