Classes suspended after school paint job
CLASSES have been suspended at José Octavio Huerta School in Pesé after to students suffered from allergic reactions, skin rashes, vomiting and dizziness.
Director Rita Chiriboga said that the decision was made based on a Ministry of Health recommendation. So far seven students and three teachers have needed treatment at a local health center.
They suffered from dizziness, vomiting, allergies and rashes on the skin, he explained.
She acknowledged that the school was painted over the weekend, which may be the cause of the problem, reports La Prensa.
