Ex-Panama Mayor and sting man called to court

FORMER  Panama Mayor Bosco Vallarino, and the man who trapped him into accepting a bribe  in a videoed  sting  operation are scheduled  to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on November 15 this year..

Vallarino, who is under house arrest  is  charged with  the alleged crime of corruption, after being accused of accepting $6,000 to process a contract for an underground parking lot  by Alexander

Judge Zaida Cárdenas of the 10th Criminal Court  has asked    authorities in  the Dominican Republic  to notify   Ventura Nogueira of the preliminary hearing, as he is named for the alleged crime of corruption of public servants.

When the investigation was first opened, Vallarino was placed under house arrest   and as it proceeded the Fourth Anti-Corruption Prosecutor called  him and  and Nogueira to trial.
