One dead six injured in twin accidents

AT LEAST five people were injured, three of them seriously in a multi-vehicle pile up at the entrance to Howard ( Panama Pacifico) and Loma Cova on the Inter America highway on Tuesday morning March 8.

Preliminary reports from firefighters and the 911 ambulance service said that two trucks and two cars and a van were involved. The van was jammed between the trucks

Firefighters, reported problems in getting to the crash site due to traffic congestion and lack of willingness of drivers.

The firefighters treated the injured and at at least three of them were taken immediately to a medical center.

The incident caused major traffic jams .

In Aguadulce a 30-year old woman, was killed Monday evening when the driver of a vehicle lost control and crossed into the opposite lane and rolled several times.
According to information provided to TVN News, the car rolled several times. TVN reported that the passenger got out through the windshield but died at the scene.
The driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
