Copa shares flying high
COPA HOLDINGS shares rose by 41.3%.on the New York Stock Exchange between February 4 and March 5.
On Friday, March 4 shares of the company closed at $66.9, the highest point in the last 12 months.
In January the company reported traffic of 1.556, million travelers, an annual increase of 2.8%.
Although the company reported disappointing numbers in the 12 months of 2015 with a net profit of $185.4 million dollars, a fall of 48.7%. Revenues reached $2. 25 billion, down 16.8% from the previous year.
The Zacks Investment Research, says the decision of the company to continue expanding its route network, will allow for better results than those obtained last year.
Meanwhile, Capital Cube says that the company is registering better results compared to other airlines, such as United Airlines and Delta US
