Air and sea search for 8 missing on boat

A MAJOR air and sea search is continuing for eight people, including four children drom the Rio Congo village in Darien, who were last seen on a new vessel in Punta Alegre on Feb.14.

The missing boat, Madre Yemaya   had two  85 horsepower engines,

Thirty two  boats and helicopters from the National Air Service, the State Border Service and the National Civil Protection System plus  local fishermen  were involved  in the search efforts on Thursday, Feb 18.
