New commerce minister sworn in
PANAMA’S new Minister of Commerce and Industry will focus on supporting the Colón Free Zone, the development of ports and attracting major cruise lines to Panama.
Augusto Arosemena Moreno made the statement at his swearing in on Tuesday, January 12. Arosemena replaces Melitón Arrocha, who resigned in November to serve in the National Assembly.
At the same time, Salvador Sanchez Gonzalez was sworn in as vice minister of the Presidency replacing Arosemena.
