5 traffic deaths in separate incidents
FIVE TRAFFIC deaths were registered in Panama in separate incidents on the weekend three of them in less than 15 hours in Panama West bringing the total so far this year to 357.
The first occurred at about 1:00 am Sunday morning on the PanAmerican highway, in front of the Malambo Orphanage in Cerro Silvestre Arraijan. A woman of unknown age was hit by a car driven by another woman.
At 2:20 pm on Sunday at the Pan-American Highway, near the headquarters of the Fire Department of Guadalupe in La Chorrera, a 45-year-old cyclist Enrique Cedeño was struck and killed.
