Boa found in Cinta Costera trash

PANAMA’S drive to reduce garbage in the city has unearthed  a diverse number of discarded objects   among the cans, bottles and  plastic containers, but the largest to date is a  1.5 meter boa.  

It was found by residential police (SPI) in the  Mirador del Pacifico area of the Cinta Costera.

The police were aiding the garbage authority AAUD, the , Ministry of Public Works and Odebrecht workers report s El Siglo

AAUD director Carlos Monterrey called for cooperation from  users of the coastal strip by depositing trash  in litter containers and not throw it in the sea. “We ask the public to make good use of these recreational areas to maintain a healthy environment” he said.
