Floods damage Aguadulce homes, church,school

AID IS BEING distributed  by provincial officials  to residents of 55 homes damaged by flooding in the early hours of Wednesday, September 30, in coastal areas of Aguadulce, Cocle province.

The flooding was due to tides in the area that reached 18.9 feet.

In addition to the homes a church and school were damaged, and people are being evacuated from the area following a yellow alert from The National Civil Defense Agency, ( Sinaproc)  that continuing high tides and forecasts of more rain could lead to more flooding.
