Government seeks airline ticket deal
IN A BID to reduce its airline ticket costs The government has published a request for proposals to domestic and international airlines operating in Panama to provide plane tickets for state officials over the next two years.
The government is expected to spend some $10 million on tickets during this period.
Between 2012 and 2015 the state spent $16 million on airline tickets reports La Prensa
Companies interested in participating in this tender must provide their economic proposals by September. 25.
There will be a meeting Sept. 16 with bidders to answer queries and allow them to make comments related to the issues.
Government officials said the process will streamline the process and result in cost savings.
