Corruption suspect gets medical check up

LAWYER AND JOURNALIST Julio Miller, joined the growing band of corruption scandal suspects claiming health problems and was taken to the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences (Imlcf) for a checkup.on the evening of Monday, August 17.

He has been preventively detained since Aug. 11 because of his alleged links with the collection of a check by the company Hidalgo & Hidalgo (H & H), which was awarded the failed irrigation project Tonosí in the province of Los Santos .
Several politicians and businessmen, including former vice president of the Republic, Felipe Pipo Virzi and former of Democratic Change deouty candidate Porfirio Furball Ellis.
