Environment message going to schools
THE MINISTRY of Education and the Ministry of Environment have launched, a campaign to increase environmental awareness among Panama schoolchildren. It is an approach that has worked well in other jurisdictions where children have tended to carry the message home.
The program “Awareness about climate change.” Was initiated on Thursday June 11 at l Jose Agustin Arango school in Bethania, Panama City.
Mirei Endara, Environment Minister said that in the month of Natural Resources is looking to step up environmental education, sensitizing students in public and private schools in the country.
A starting point will be through a video to be distributed in schools, so that children will become multipliers of information.
