Copa launching direct daily flights to San Francisco
COPA AIRLINES, will initiate yet another direct flight to a North American city in September, when it will start flying to San Francisco.
With this flight the Panamanian company will increase its reach 74 destinations in 30 countries, and raise e its direct flights to the US to 13.
The company will start with a daily flight using Boeing 737-800 planes which can carry 154 passengers.
The city of San Francisco is the main connection point between the US and Asia, increasing connectivity from Tocumen International Airport.
In addition, the airport in that city offers daily connections to other destinations like Seattle, Portland and Vancouver, Canada.
Within the United States, Copa Airlines has flights to Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Miami, Boston, Las Vegas, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and Washington and Miami. On June 24 the company will begin flying four times a week New Orleans.
In the first four months of the year, Copa Holdings, holder of the shares of the Panamanian airline, reported transporting 5.4 million passengers, an increase of 4.8% compared to the same period last year.
