Last chance to see Canal expansion before flooding
The Panama Canal Authority(ACP) has issued an invitation to the general public for a free visit to see the expansion work at the locks area in Cocolí.
The tour will take place on Sunday May 17 between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm
Visitors must wear safety shoes or boots and wear long trousers. Children over 12 years can visit.
Those wishing to attend must reach the Cocolí area from where ACP buses will take them to the site. (see map)
Each visit will last approximately 45 minutes.
