CORRUPTION: Marching for Justice and Dignity
AS PANAMA citizens plan for the Tuesday “March for Justice and Dignity” in Panama City, some schools have cancelled afternoon classes as anticipated road closures and traffic congestion could disrupt bus transport.
The march, to protest endemic government corruption. is expected to attract thousands of participants from all walks of life, including politicians, unions and civil rights activists. They will assemble at Iglesia del Carmen, on the intersection of Via España with Federico Boyd,at 4 pm and, march to Parque Porras on Avenida Peru. While the deomonstration is expected to be peaceful The U.S. Embassy has warned American citizens to “remain diligent in your personal security.”
