Panama joins world “je suis Charlie” protests

PANAMA JOURNALISTS will follow the lead of their colleagues around the world with a public protest on Monday, January 12, in the Plaza de Francia, Casco Viejo to protest Wednesday’s assassinations by Muslim extremists at the Paris-based newspaper Charlie Hebdo.

 The protest has been organized by the National Council of Journalists (CNP) which has invited all journalists as well as other civic organizations, to take part in the event. It will begin at 10  am.
