United launches new nonstop Panama-Denver service
UNITED AIRLINES launched its new nonstop service between Panama City and its Denver International Airport hub on Thursday , December 4.
The new service will operate daily from to August 2015 and five times a week between September and October 2015. It will provide connections from Denver to cities across the United States; as well as connections from Panama City to different cities in Central and South America through the United strategic alliance with Copa Airlines.
“This service will connect Panama City directly with the ‘Mile High City’ and offers guests connections to more than 50 airports across the United States as well as Tokyo,” said Salvador Marrero, Executive Director of United Latin Central.
Marrero was accompanied by Jonathan Farrar the US Ambassador to Panama, ,Panama City Mayor Jose Blandon, the Administrator of Panama’s Tourism authority, Jesus Sierra, businessmen and special guests at an event welcoming the first flight to Tocumen International Airport.
United operates the service using Boeing 737-700 aircraft with 118 seats – 12 in business and 106 in economy, including 40 Economy Plus seats with extra legroom.
