THE MONTH that brings back so many happy memories for many of us is finally dawning, and Panama’s first big Christmas event, Carols by Candlelight/Luces de Navidad  will be on SATURDAY DECEMBER 6   with seven performing choirs representing multiple denominations.

The celebration will take place at Mirador Del Pacifico, at the Fish market end of the Cinta Costera.

It’s your opportunity to join in the singing of seasonal favorites and wave an LED candle in support of Santo Tomas Hospital.

The charity event, now in its fourth year is organized by the CanadaPLUS Club with the support of  Panama’s Cultural  institute  local businesses. It has raised funds for Fundacion Calicanto, Hogar Malambo and Santo Tomas, and has in four years become a tradition for many expats and Panamanians.

This year the audience will include Panama’s mayor, Jose Isobel Blandon ambassadors from 23 countries, and religious leaders

Peace Corps Volunteers will be on hand to guide ticket holders to their seats.
