Panama ratifies Mexico FTA
PANAMA’S National Assembly ratified the free trade agreement (FTA) with Mexico on Tuesday, October 7.
The agreement will allow access to the Mexican market for exports such as flowers, watermelons, melons, beef offal, processed chicken, cocoa and seafood reports La Prensa.
The document also provides the terms of customs controls and financial services, and a chapter of solutions of trade disputes.
Minister of Trade and Industry Melitón Arrocha, was present at the ratification of the agreement.
