Varela names security appointments
POLICE COMMISSIONER Eric Estrada will be the new director of the Institutional Protection Service beginning July 1 said President-elect Juan Carlos Varela on Thursday, June 26.
At the same time, Varela ratified Commander Frank Ábrego as general director of the Border Protection service (Senafront) and Commander Belsio González as head of the national air service (Senan).
Varela also reported that Ricardo Solí¬s will be the manager of the Bank of Agricultural Development. On Wednesday he had announced that Rogelio Donadío would be vice minister of Public Security.
