Assembly employees get $330,000 to entice voters
TWO employees of Panama’s National Assembly received $330,000 for food bags to distribute to voters in their bids to be elected as CD deputies,
Wigberto Quinterohe secretary of the Assembly and Roberto Poll undersecretary were beneficiaries of the National Assistance Program (PAN) before the May 4 election.
Both, without being members of the Assembly received the funds as they unsuccessfully aspired to occupy a seat for Democratic Change reports La Prensa.
