Thousands face waterless weekend

WORK on a broken pipeline carrying water to 15 sectors, scheduled for Saturday, April 26, has been suspended until further notice  said the Water and Sewage authority  (Idaan) late Friday.

The announcement came via  through Idaan’s Twitter account.

The work was being carried out near the women's prison in Tocumen.

Interruption of water supplies is  affecting some 15 sectors, including El Crisol Santa Clara, Dorasol, San Pedro, and, Brisas del Golf, Also the area of ??San Antonio, Cerro Viento, Altos de las Acacias, Don Bosco and Villa Catalina  reports La Prensa.

Last week, thousands of Chorrera residents were without water for over three daya following a fractured water main.
