Taps flowing again in most of Chorrera

WATER FLOWED through the faucets of most homes in Chorrera on Sunday. April 20 after repairs to a 60 ins fractured pipeline were completed late Saturday.

The Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers ( Idaan ) denied social media reports of another break reports  La  Prensa

Some distant cornear like Solano, in the village of Guadalupe, still depend on bottled water distributed by staff of the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc). In Puerto Caimito nor has restored service as it was found today.
The regional director of Idaan , Maximino Quintero denied new damage to the water pipeline and
explained that due to the high consumption of water, there was low pressure at some points and the delay in the supply in other par ts was because reserve tanks had not been filled to full capacity,
The repair of the 60-inch pipe from Mendozat treatment plant took 65 hours of round the clock work.
According to Idaan there were ome delays because one of the accessories did not fit properly
