Chief justice asks judges to comply with work schedule
PANAMA Supreme Court Chief Justice José Ayú Prado has sent out a memo calling on all magistrates and judges of the country to comply with their work schedules.
In a circular issued by the court and posted on its website,Thursday April 17 Ayu Prado asked colleagues to comply with the timetable established in articles 267 and 269 of the Judicial Code.
"Higher courts of justice and the various other courts need to dispatch in their respective offices without prejudice and to set additional or extra working hours to attend to other types of issues or responsibilities, respecting the dignity of the office," he said.
