Bar Association team to study Panama linked Italian corruption case.
A DELEGATION of lawyers from Panama’s Bar Association will be traveling to Italy to investigate the criminal case involving alleged bribes paid to Panamanian officials by Valter Lavítola once feted by leading figures in the ruling party.
Association Vice President Juan Carlos Araúz will replace Italo Antinori, chairman of its committee on constitutional law and former ombudsman, who will not be part of the group because of professional commitments for the dates the committee will be in Italy.
Other participants will be Miguel Antonio Bernal and José Alberto Álvarez.
