Archbishop saddened by dirty election campaigns
ARCHBISHOP José Domingo Ulloa, said Sunday, March 30, that he is “saddened” that campaigning politicians replace proposals with personal attacks "The dirty campaigns offend me."
He said that in the end these campaigns do more harm to those who promote them.
He called on voters to “demand our politicians offered us something more dignified and respect us … After that nobody complains"
He reiterated that the ethical electoral pact is only an instrument to bring peace in the election campaign.
Regarding the latest political commercials Ulloa confessed that it gives him "sadness" that instead of making proposals they make personal attacks.
