A trial is set for June 23 of two Italian citizens accused of facilitating the bribes. One, Valter Lavitola, the kink man between the Italian company, former Italian Prime Minister, Berlusconi and high ranking members of Panama's government, is one of the two defendants, and is already serving time for earlier corruption convictions.
