14 sudden deaths on Carnival weekend

Carnival weekend recorded a grim record of 14 deaths, with causes ranging from traffic accidents and drowning to multiple assassinations.

One of the killings took place on Sunday on Sunday afternoon, in one of the Carnival party centers in Las Tablas when Jonathan Tomero, 27, was gunned down with two bullets in front of horrified dancers. A suspect was captured, Other shootings in San Miguelito and La Cabima brought the Panama Sunday killing spree to five.Other shootings took place in Tocumenm nd Bocas del Toro One child died in a drowing incident in Chame.On  Monday afternoon , the Emergency Operations Center reported three three deaths : two from collisions and a murder . Authorities did not specify where the incidents took place.
