No fatalities first day of Carnival
UNTIL noon on Saturday March 1 the first day of Panama’s Carnival, no fatal casualties were reported, in spite of a massive volume of traffic moving to the Interior.
But hospital emergency rooms and health centers remained on alert.
The announcement came from the Emergency Operations Center, overseeing over security personnel from different institution deployed across the country
In Panama City, after the exodus of thousands of cars, it was a “no traffic jams” holiday for those who resisted the lure of Carnival and stayed at home
