One dead, 11 injured in bus stop accident

ONE PERSON was killed and eleven injured on Friday February 7,when a   pick up   truck hit a crowded bus stop,.

TVN reportes that the truck was hit  by a taxi and forced into the stop. The driver was allegedly impaired.

THe incident too place in La Cadima, San Megalito on Friday January 7.

Javier Castillo, director of operations of the Emergency 911 System, reported that three of the injured people remain in serious condition. 

Two of them were transferred to the Social Security Medical Complex while the other was taken to Hospital Santo Tomás in Panama City
The others injured were treated at the scene.
Castillo said the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
